An Unhealthy Obsession.

I used to have it with shoes. I used to have over a hundred pairs until I culled my collection and now I am cured of it. Can't say the same for scarves and bags.

I'm not the only one with an unhealthy obsession.
I don't know if I should organise them according to colour or pattern or designer. This is going to take all afternoon.

ETA:
These are just the blues and grey/creams. I ran out of hanger for the reds and yellows. I was going to say I feel better now, until I realised the hanger on the right is facing the wrong way. It annoys me just looking at it.

What's Your Excuse?

This photo has created a bit of a furore on Facebook.

I can see why it pissed off a lot of people, the slogan is just a bit inflammatory. But I don't think she could have put anything down that would not be taken negatively. She has some pretty good advice on her blog here. Good for her, I say. As Britney Spears says, if you want a hot body and look good in a bikini, you better work b**ch.

So what's my excuse?

This,

and this.

Do I feel guilty? Not really. I'd rather have eaten them than not. Anyway, I'm just waiting for my abdominal separation to close itself then I can start really working out. I heard it can take months and months to fix itself.

New Addition.

Bubby and Chububby have a cousin! Little A arrived a little early on 1st of October although we were expecting her to be a bit earlier, her mum was certainly more than ready to evict her weeks ago.

Chububby looks huge in comparison. Although she really is a tiny little thing. Her mum literally, no word of a lie and I saw the birth video, coughed her out.

Proud and smitten aunt.

In other news, Bubby had to dress up as a baby animal or his favourite fruit or vegetable for Spring Day at daycare. So I made him a broccoli costume hat.

Obviously, I am not a milliner. My brother reckons they look like grapes. To me they look like fungal spores or a colony of staphylococcus.

Whoever said kids don't like vegetables?

Bubby is one cool dude.

Art and About With the Family.

Over the weekend, we were blessed with beautiful weather (Sydney sure knows how to put on a great summer) as we headed to the city to check out this year's Art and About. We really only got to see Snailovasion (giants snails) and Field (field of mirrors). There's so much more to see but it's hard with an infant who feeds every 2 hours.

Bubby loved the giant snails.

And had a ball running around the mirrors. It's amazing how easy it is to lose a child here. It's like a mirror maze. I like that I can see his reflection in one of the mirrors.

It was such a great day. After many months of hubby never having a day off it was so nice to spend proper family time.
